New wet laboratory created March, 2016

I am happy to announce that after seven years of working hard to build a BSL 2 wet lab at Concordia University here in Montreal, it has finally materialized! All the equipment including a sterile hood, Co2 incubator, fridge, and disposables that I have had sitting around doing nothing for years has been moved to the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology at Concordia University. I am excited to start working i n the lab and seeing how this new lab/makerspace will open up possibilities for artists and researchers interested in working across artistic and scientific practices. Reporter Robert Everett-Green has written a nice article about the lab space and the Milieux Institute.
